After watching this, I got to this conclusion:

What this sounds like to me is the Atheists don't believe in organized religions, nor do they believe in the God that those organized religions have created. And Dr. Peterson is saying God is a collective consciousness, but because he's cloaked in religion, i.e "Christianity" they will both continue to miss each other's points. Because Peterson's God seems to be outside of religion, but he also represents religion. Interesting discussion that would require open-mindedness on both sides so that they can perceive each other as not only monolith.
