Drinking From Her Well

a study of women & my desire for them

This series explores women; not simply their physical, but what makes feminine essence the most desirable currency on this planet. What makes feminine essence so intoxicating? I wanted to explore feminine energy at its base, through portraiture of women in Los Angeles in 2023. My goal was to capture women in their natural essence and immortalize that energy/essence in a photo.

I believe a woman that sits in her full-embodiment of feminine essence is powerful. And my mission is to remind women of that, by being an explorer of it.

Then I wanted to turn the lens on myself and explore what femininity and feminine energy meant for me; in my life. How do I connect to my own femininity and what’s my connection to femininity itself beyond looking like a woman?

And finally, as a person who values platonic and romantic relationships with women, I wanted to explore my desire for feminine presence and women in general.
