An Ode to Women
a photographic study about the mythical power women effortlessly radiate.
(Featured image: Mrychalyn –WVMN Portraiture Series)
This series explores women; not simply their physical, but what makes feminine essence the most desirable currency on this planet. What makes feminine essence so intoxicating? I wanted to explore feminine energy at its base, through portraiture of women in Los Angeles in 2023. My goal was to capture women in their natural essence and immortalize that energy/essence in a photo.
I believe a woman that sits in her full-embodiment of feminine essence is powerful. And my mission is to remind women of that, by being an explorer of it.
Then I wanted to turn the lens on myself and explore what femininity and feminine energy meant for me; in my life. How do I connect to my own femininity and what’s my connection to femininity itself beyond looking like a woman?
And finally, as a person who values platonic and romantic relationships with women, I wanted to explore my desire for feminine presence and women in general.
Return to Self, Series
Ever evolving series highlighting my unraveling in order to return back to myself.

Madam Babineaux’s
A cinematic portrait of a Black Woman’s home. I enjoy cinematically capturing spaces with integrity to capture the soul of a space. Ms. Babineaux had been curating her home for over 30yrs and it is a time-capsule from numerous decades past. I was honoured to direct + capture it. Her are my findings.
